Finance & Payroll Assistant
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and organised individual to join a busy and growing business as a Finance & Payroll Assistant.
This role is perfect for someone looking to build a long-term career within finance, payroll, and business support. Whether you already have some finance or bookkeeping exposure, or you’re looking for your first step into a finance-focused environment, this could be an excellent opportunity.
You’ll join a fast-paced and supportive team gaining exposure across payroll, accounts payable, administration, reporting, and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with elements of the monthly payroll process
- Credit card and vendor reconciliations
- Managing office and staff purchases
- Supporting reporting and finance administration
- Reception and visitor coordination duties
- Handling incoming calls and post
- Assisting with facilities and ad hoc office support tasks
- Supporting the wider finance function where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Logical and detail-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience is beneficial but not essential
